Tzatziki Sauce

You’ll probably never buy tzatziki again when you realize how easy it is to make! With only 4 ingredients (plus salt and pepper), it’s super easy to make and tastes so much better than store-bought. Plus you can make it extra garlicky (yum) or lemony or both depending on your preference.

This tzatziki sauce is a staple in my Greek Chicken Burger recipe. 🇬🇷

RECIPE - yields 8 oz sauce
TIME - 5 minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 single-serving plain Greek yogurt (I used Oikos and it was 5.3 oz)

  • 1 Persian cucumber (these are the smaller cucumbers that are 5-6 inches long), grated

  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced (I used a microplane.)

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

DIRECTIONS

  1. Add Greek yogurt to a medium-sized bowl.

  2. Grate in Persian cucumber (I use the larger grate size if you have a multi-sized grater.)

  3. Add in minced garlic, lemon juice, and salt and pepper.

  4. Stir to combine. Add in more salt and pepper to taste.
